Rosewood is made up of sixty units.   Of these sixty units, seventeen are 2-bedroom, thirty-eight are 3-bedroom, two are 4-bedroom, and three are 2-bedroom barrier-free (all on one floor) units. Each unit is supplied with a fridge and stove, mid-efficiency gas hot water tank, furnace, and laundry hook-ups.  Washer and dryer are supplied in barrier-free units.  One outdoor parking space is included with each unit.

Thirty of Rosewood's housing units are available to those who require a subsidy in order to meet monthly housing charges.  This applies to working families whose income is not sufficient to pay full market rent, as well as families on assistance or disability pension.  All families granted a subsidy are required to pay a percentage of their income towards their monthly housing charge, plus utilities.  The percentage is determined by Canada Mortgage & Housing Commission, who incurs the remaining cost for the subsidized unit; offering subsidized housing does not cost the Co-op anything.  

 The remaining thirty units at Rosewood Co-op are for families who can afford to pay the full monthly housing charge.  Current charges for market-rate units are as follows:

    2-bdrm    $791/mo, plus utilities
    3-bdrm    $849/mo, plus utilities
    4-bdrm    $890/mo, plus utilities

 All members pay a Maintenance Deposit of $800. For those with pets, a Pet Deposit of $100 per pet is applicable. (The co-op only permits small dogs). A payment plan for the deposits can be arranged for low-income members.  These deposits are refundable at move-out if there is no damage to the townhouse or outstanding housing charges.

Each member of the Co-op is expected to participate in some aspect of the Co-op's operation.  This includes attending general membership meetings, being involved in committees, and taking on tasks around the Co-op.  The Co-op has a high level of community involvement. 

The Co-op's community centre is a great resource for members.  The centre houses the Co-op office and offers a laundry room with washers & dryers, washroom facilities, and a large meeting room and kitchen that are available for parties.
